“The quad tuner requires a mandatory subscription of $50/year or $400 for lifetime. This is unlike the optional subscription offered for dual or single tuner devices that support manual recordings and pause live TV without a subscription. The quad tuner device will not work without the mandatory subscription. You will only be able to watch live TV on an HDMI cable-connected TV if your quad tuner does not have an active subscription.”
